A member of the House of Representatives representing Ekiti South Federal Constituency I, AVM Rufus Ojuawo (Rtd), has reaffirmed support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Biodun Oyebanji during a courtesy visit to the City Boy Movement (CBM) Youth House in Ado-Ekiti.

The visit, which comes ahead of the official unveiling of the movement’s secretariat, highlights intensified grassroots mobilisation efforts by the group, with a central focus on securing President Tinubu’s re-election, alongside support for Governor Oyebanji.

Ojuawo, who was received by members of the State Executive Council of the movement led by the State Director, Asiwaju Kasali Oluwafemi, commended the group for its consistency in mobilising youth support for President Tinubu, describing the initiative as strategic to strengthening the President’s political base.

He also expressed confidence in the economic direction of the country under Tinubu’s leadership, while applauding the movement’s commitment to rallying support for Governor Oyebanji’s re-election.

“I am impressed by the level of organisation here. Seeing the ‘500,000 votes for Governor Oyebanji’ campaign is encouraging. In my constituency, billboards are already being erected and posters displayed in support of the governor,” he said, noting that necessary political structures had been activated across his constituency to ensure electoral victory.

Earlier, the State Director of the movement, Asiwaju Kasali Oluwafemi, emphasised that the primary objective of the City Boy Movement is to galvanise nationwide support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He noted that the mobilisation for Governor Oyebanji’s re-election remains a critical component of that broader objective, given its strategic importance to future political outcomes.

Oluwafemi also lauded the lawmaker for identifying with young people in the state, describing his visit as a reflection of inclusive leadership and grassroots connection.
