Police constable recruitment exam holds 28-29 April (See details requirements, venue for exam)

The Police Service Commission (PSC), in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), has scheduled 28th to 30th April 2026 for the conduct of the written examination for applicants seeking enlistment into the Nigeria Police Force as Police Constables, covering both General Duty and Specialist cadres.

According to the Ekiti State Police command spokesman, SP Abutu Sunday, the exercise will be held at designated centres across the 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory.

EKITI STATE CENTRE : Alfa Belgore Hall, Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti.

Only candidates who successfully passed the physical and credentials screening are eligible to participate in the examination. Qualified applicants are required to log on to www.npfapplication.psc.gov.ng (http://www.npfapplication.psc.gov.ng/) from Friday, 24th April 2026, to print their Examination Invitation Card, which contains details of their specific date, time, and venue.

Candidates are to present the following items at their respective examination centres:
1. A pen
2. National Identification Number (NIN) slip issued by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), bearing a clear photograph
3. Printed Examination Invitation Card

*DRESS CODE:* White shorts, white T-shirt, and white canvas shoes.

The Police Service Commission reiterates that the recruitment process is entirely free of charge and cautions applicants against any form of job racketeering, scam, or financial inducement. Any individual found culpable will be prosecuted in accordance with the law.

The Ekiti State Commissioner of Police, CP FALADE ADEGOROYE MICHEAL, while wishing all the eligible candidates a successful examination exercise, implores them to be conscious of time and adhere strictly to all the examination guidelines as stated above. He reiterated that the recruitment is free of charge.
