Governors from the 36 states of the federation under the auspices of the Nigeria Governors Forum (N GF), on Wednesday night converged in Abuja, for a crucial meeting on the planned protests by the youths over alleged bad governance.
Those physicially present at the venue are Governors Lawal Dauda (Zamfara), Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Caleb Mutfwang (Plateau), Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta), and Alex Otti (Abia).
The governors of Enugu, Peter Mbah and Borno States, Babagana Zulum, sent their deputies to represent them.
Although, the agenda of the meeting was not made public and they did not brief the media after the meeting ended early Thursday, however sources at the meeting disclosed that it was in connection with the protest and the Supreme Court judgement on local government autonomy.
