BREAKING: Two Traditional Rulers Killed By Kidnappers, one Escapes in Ekiti

Two traditional rulers in Ekiti state have been killed by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers on Monday, while the third one escaped.

Kayemo News learnt that the two traditional rulers including the Elesun of Esun-Ekiti, Oba David Babatunde Ogunsakin and the Onimojo of Imojo-Ekiti, Oba Olatunde Samuel Olushola were ambushed and shot dead by the gunmen along Oke Ako road, in Ikole local government area of the state.

It was also gathered that the Alara of Ara Ikole, Oba Fatoba who was traveling alongside with them escaped from the scene.

The Chairman of Ajoni LCDA, Hon. Michael Ogungbemi confirmed the attack and the killing of the two traditional rulers.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) DSP Sunday Abutu promised to get back to our correspondent for details.
