Public and private primary and secondary schools in Ekiti State are scheduled to resume on Monday, 28th April, for the third term of the 2024/2025 academic session.
According to a statement from the Ekiti State Commissioner for Education, Dr (Mrs) Olabimpe Aderiye mni, made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti, the resumption is in accordance with the approved calendar for the academic year.
The Commissioner said all learners and teachers are expected to resume school on the announced date as academic activities are expected to commence immediately.
She stressed that the State Government would continue to provide the direction and regulations needed for excellent outcomes from schools, nothing that the resumption marks a new chapter as students are expected to engage in serious academic and co-curricular activities throughout the term, with the state poised for a more productive year in education.
