Members of the Òmùòyewá Multipurpose Cooperative Society have extended their heartfelt condolences to the Chairman, Governing Council of Ekiti State Polytechnic, Professor Emmanuel Adedayo Fasakin, on the passing into glory of his beloved mother, Mama Alice Aina Fasakin, who departed this life on Friday.
In a statement issued by the Secretary of the Society at the Omuoyewa House, Omuo Ekiti, Mr. Jacob Ajayi Oloruntoba the association conveyed the deep sympathy of all members to the esteemed professor.
“Members of Òmùòyewá CMS were saddened to learn of the passing of Mama Alice Aina Fasakin, the cherished mother of our Member and the Chairman of the Governing Council, Ekiti State Polytechnic,” he said.
He noted that Mama Fasakin would be fondly remembered for her generosity, godliness, and devotion to humanity, as reflected in the many testimonies of those who benefitted from her compassionate acts.
“Testimonies about her charity and love for all will be remembered by those who benefitted from her milk of humanitarianism,” Oloruntoba added.
He emphasized that her legacy lives on through the values she instilled in her son, describing Prof. Fasakin as “a God-fearing, accomplished academic and visionary leader.”
Encouraging the family to find strength in their faith, Oloruntoba reminded them of the Christian call to accept the will of God.
“Her legacy will remain immortalized in the hearts of those who witnessed her life of discipline, devotion, and service,” he said.
In closing, Oloruntoba, on behalf of the entire Society, conveyed the group’s collective grief and prayers.
“On behalf of the Society under the leadership of President A. G. Ajayi, I extend our heartfelt condolences to our distinguished and loyal member, Prof. Fasakin, the Fasakin family, and the good people of Ọda-Odo, Omuo-Ekiti.
May God grant her soul eternal rest and give the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”
