Authorities of the Ekiti State Police Command has arrested some of the suspects involved in the marathon killings of some persons within Ado, the Ekiti State capital last week and other crimes committed in the state.
There was tension in Ado Ekiti last week after three persons were killed in broad daylight within two days. The victims included a POS operator, a wheel barrow pusher in Okay Bisi and an Okada Rider Association official.
The first was an executive of commercial motorcyclists who was killed on Tuesday while a popular POS operator known as Alfa was also killed on Thursday at the Adebayo Area, adjacent Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti.
As if that was not enough, few hours later, the killers also brought down a trader at Oja Bisi thus causing confusion and panic.
The suspects include notorious cult gangs and some other notorious criminals who came to the state from plateau State.
