The then Senior Prefect of the former Fiyin Folu/Odundun/Comprehensive High School, Ayedun-Ekiti, and current President of the 1987 Set, Mr. Aribisala Bode, has advised students to stay away from social vices and remain focused on their studies for a better future.
The President of the 1987 sets give the charge during the book presentation of over 4,300 big notes worthy of 1.3million Naira at the two schools: Fiyin Folu High School and Odundun High School, Oke and Odo Ayedun-Ekiti respectively in Ikole Local Government of Ekiti State.
Mr. Aribisala, who spoke through the Secretary of the Set also who is a Chairman end of the year Planning Committee Prof. Ogunleye Esan, gave the charge during the presentation of over 4,300 Big Notes donated to both teachers and students two schools in the area.
He noted that the gesture was part of the Set’s commitment to giving back to the schools that shaped their academic journey and moral upbringing. Also encouraged the students to make effective use of the notebooks and remain dedicated to excellence.
The Principals of the two schools Mrs Adedeji Funke of Odundun High school and her counterpart Mrs Ogunyebi Bolanle from Fiyin Folu expressed their deep appreciation to the 1987 Set for remembering their alma mater and contributing meaningfully to the academic development of the students. They described the donation as timely and impactful.
Students from both schools Master of Oseni James Senior Prefect and Senior Girl Ilugbusu from Odundun High School Odo Ayedun Ekiti] and his colleague from Fiyinfolu High School Oke Ayedun Ekiti Akosile Boluwatife Senior Prefect and Senior Girl Makajuola also thanked the Set for the kind gesture and promised to make good use of the notebooks to improve their academic performance.
